The Chameleon loves to party, Indeed, he goes to lots and lots of parties, but now he also has a party of his own! And not just any party – a colour and inspiration party! He is inviting everyone he knows and all their friends. So that means you!
What is a Colour & Inspiration Party?
I guess it’s whatever you want to make of it. But the Chameleon’s Colour & Inspiration Party is where we get together to share our quilts and related works in progress each Tuesday. So that we can all admire the quilt eye-candy and get ideas that we might like to try on our own projects.
How to Participate in the Chameleon’s Colour & Inspiration Party
The Chameleon and I are inviting you to show us what you are working on in quilt-land. Now, or in the recent past. A quilt, a block, a pattern, a fabric pull, new stash, a bag, a jacket, a stitchery, a squirrel…… Basically, anything fabric-y that can reasonably be considered to be of likely interest to another quilter is welcome.
What you will need is a digital photo of the fabrics and/or projects that are getting you excited at the moment, and a short description. If you have a blog/IG post/Flickr of your project that is excellent, bring your URL. But a URL is not mandatory. There is no need to be a blogger or Instagram-er to participate, you can take part with just a photo.
The description can be as long and detailed or short as you like, up to 100 characters. Let us know as much about your project as possible and who you are.
Why?
Why not? Quilting is fun. Parties are fun. Helping each other out and growing personally in our craft is fun! The collective wisdom of quilters on the web is HUGE and it is nice to share some of it. Basically it’s about hosting community, and everyone reaping the benefits.
The Specifics

- Link up your latest or recent quilt excitement. All quilt construction stages welcome – even fabric pulls! Or inspiration sources!
- You have 100 characters in the link description…. tell us who you are and what your fantastic project is.
- While URLs are optional, if you do choose to add a link, please make sure it is a permalink so that people are not disappointed when your project isn’t at the end of their click.
- Invite your friends – A link to the party on your post or sidebar would be greatly appreciated. Grab a button to decorate your post or sidebar if you wish!
