Wishing you joy and hope today
Today is Mother’s Day in Australia, and in many other places around the world too. So, to all the Mothers, and all the other wonderful people who fulfil the role of mothers everywhere, the Chameleon wishes you a blessed day.
My 9 year old and I were discussing what we could do to make mothers feel special this year, in the face of the dual challenges of distance and social distancing. We know that many families are facing a strange day today where usual visits and outings will be not happening, or are kept short and at arm’s length. My kids only have one grandmother remaining, and we cannot visit her today. So my son wanted to use his brand new computer coding skills to make you a Mother’s Day present. A special Mother’s Day game just for my Clever Chameleon readers. I hope you know how privileged you are! 😀
Click on the green flag to start the game. Use your right arrow key to help little hedgehog through the garden and the house. Travel through the heart portals to collect the flower and find his mum. Feel warm and fuzzy because somewhere in the Australian Outback a real boy and an imaginary Chameleon are thinking of you and all mothers, and wishing you a great day.
