Seaside Adventures: Week 2

Back Again! Two from Two!

So, are you enjoying the Seaside Adventure so far? What a terrific set of blocks we were treated to last week. I know Marian would have been so pleased.

I hope you are enjoying seeing Marian’s vision come to fruition as much as I am. There are three new blocks available in her Row Along this week, and they are all beauties. Very insta-worthy locations, so add them to your adventure itinerary by heading over to the Chameleon’s pop-up travel agency on the blog!

Thank you to everyone who left a message welcoming me and my crazy alter ego back into their email inbox. It was very touching. And a nice distraction from writing dry reports. And re-writing even drier reports, because the Chameleon doesn’t speak ‘boring’ very well! He has style. And flair! And a naughty sense of humour….. not very professional is our Chameleon! lol.

A Seaside Adventure: Week 2

Our Seaside Adventure tour bus has meandered along the coast to our next set of attractions on Marian’s seaside journey.

On your left you will see a row of pretty cabanas on the sand. You can get your own beach cabana by visiting Phoebe at Scrapdash. This block finishes at 12″ x 30″.

On your right, you will get another view of the beautiful crystal clear ocean. The turtles and seagulls have given way to shoals of colourful fish.

Anthea of Blue Heron Quilting has pieced fish aplenty for you. The official block size is 12″ x 18″, but you could make as many of these fish as you like, in any layout you like, to fit a myriad of spaces. Just remember to get rid of your fish scraps before they start to smell!

And Beatrice of Pumpkin Patch Quilting is offering this sweet fish appliqué block. Again, the block has an official size: 12″ x 30″. But you can add as many or as few of the fishes as you wishes.

You can collect all the patterns at their respective pages in the links provided.

Thank you again to Mel Shields of The Quilting Room with Mel blog for hosting the “A Seaside Adventure” row along this year.

Enjoy!

I’m sticking with the plan to blog and run for now! But it doesn’t change how much I love you all!

Make sure you grab all the Seaside Adventure patterns while the world’s still your oyster. Some will only be free for a short while.

Ok, I’ll clam up for now!

See you next week. 😀

  1. Your dry reports, that reminds me of a friend, a journalist, with a University Degree, who went to work for a Member of Parliament, here in NZ., she had to write a speech for him, so read the last one, looked at him and said ” WHO wrote this? It is boring, boring, boring” He replied, ” I did ” She kept her job. Love the Chameleon tale this week, hope the dry reports get some much needed moisture and keep you entertained. Cheers, Jean across the ditch.

  2. Hi Dione!! Holy moly – how are you and your peeps. I thought my eyes were deceiving me . . . and then I thought, NO. That IS a post from Dione. {{Hugs}} I’ve missed you. I may have missed your posts because I’ve had trouble catching up lately. I really hope you are doing well. ~smile~ Roseanne
